I’m Kathy, and I am the person behind Foppema’s Farm Recipes. So, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am the wife of Tyler without whom this recipe blog would not even be possible, the mother of 4 children (Amanda, Landon, Annsie, & Magnalie), grandmother to 2 beautiful girls, Nathalee and Livy, and I love the Lord with all my heart.
I consider myself a student of life and my interests include: cooking, food processing (canning, dehydration), nutrition, wild food foraging, frugality, simple self-sufficient living, gardening, and missions in Haiti through Homebound Missions a non-profit organization that my husband and I founded. I hold no special degrees, just a love for learning and sharing what I discover.
