Picnic Pickles~
This is as simple as pickle making gets. Just throw all your ingredients in a bag overnight and the next day you have really crispy delicious half sour pickles.
Author:
Ingredients
  • 6-7 pickling cucumbers*, ends cut off and quartered
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced thin
  • 1 Handful of fresh dill*, chopped slightly
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 large Ziploc bag
Instructions
  1. In Ziploc bag, add all the above ingredients (including salt) and mix gently.
  2. Squeeze air out of the bag, seal and place in the refrigerator overnight. It doesn't hurt to occasionally massage the bag to move the ingredients around.
  3. Pickles are ready to eat the next day.
