This is a stove top, served warm, easy to make dessert that's just in time for those cool Fall evenings.
- 4 cooking apples*, (your favorite)
- ¼ cup plus butter*
- ½ cup coconut sugar, (use brown sugar to substitute)
- ½ cup pecans
- Wash, core and quarter 4 apples.
- In frying pan or skillet melt ¼ stick butter. Place apple skins down in butter and sprinkle with sugar and pecans. Top with slices of butter.
- Cook on low heat until tender and candied.
